Dearest Dwarfs:
By Claire Bonderud
There are many reasons why I left you all.
Seven, in fact. And then some.
Yes, it's true; you helped me in my time of peril;
homeless, you brought me into your shabby home.
In turn I cooked, I cleaned, I scrubbed,
sanitized socks, scraped mouldy mildew off the kitchen floor,
who am I, Cinderella?
Now, let's get down to business.
Sleepy; if you didn't stay up all night watching the mating rituals of rare African creatures on the Discovery channel, you wouldn't have your little problem, now would you?
Doc; how dare you call yourself a doctor, I know for a fact you never went to Harvard Medical scho
Staff Meeting
By Claire Bonderud
They were all to meet in the staff room at 8:00 in the morning. Math came in first and on time, right on the dot of 8, not a millisecond too late. Secretly, he had been waiting outside until it reached 7:59 and 25 milliseconds; he had calculated the time it would take for him to take two steps into the room, which took approximately 45 milliseconds. Drumming his fingers to the syllables of rhom-bus, History with his wife, Social Studies, shuffled in at 8:32. They nodded and acknowledged each other's presence, starting the old round of small talk.
"Awful weather, isn't it?" Chuckled History, as he adjusted

We actually made them (sorry Claire doesn't go on dA too often) they were beige suede boots we painted with a coat of white fabric paint and then covered in white acrylic paint, and te detailing is black fabric marker touched up with black acrylic paint, then we cut them up down the front to make the shape. The "straps" are black ribbon with velcro on each side to take on and off, the external heel is a bent clothes hanger 'hooked' to the inside of the top of the boot and under the boot heel via ductape, and covered with a bit of posterboard and more black ribbon.
